Tucson accounting firms HBL CPAs, P.C. and Braun P.C. merge

Tucson accounting firm HBL CPAs, P.C. announces the merger of HBL CPAs, P.C. and Braun P.C. effective June 15, 2016.

Both firms have a long history in the community and together are committed to helping clients achieve their goals by being a trusted guide and partner. “The synergy of the combined firm along with HBL CPAs’ long-standing membership in CPAmerica will result in enriched service to clients with the personalized touch of a local firm and the knowledge and resources of a global network,” according to John Lauer, CEO of HBL CPAs, P.C.

HBL CPA’s history extends back to 1973 as one of metropolitan Tucson’s premier accounting and consulting firms with extensive experience in all facets of business, personal financial planning, nonprofit and tax matters.

Braun P.C. was founded by David H. Braun in 1982 to provide a broad scope of accounting services and strategic business and financial planning including tax preparation to corporate entities, small businesses, individuals, nonprofit organizations, estates and trusts. David Braun has joined HBL CPAs, P.C. as a director, and former Braun vice-president Jacquie Ivey, with over 15 year of experience in public accounting, has been admitted as a shareholder.

The combined firm will remain HBL CPAs, P.C. and will consist of over 45 people, including 7 partners, maintaining the 5656 E. Grant Rd. office location.
